That is only possible if a file format has a specified way of connecting chords to lyrics, and listing information about the song (like title, key, etc). Since Word files are free-form documents, we can&#039;t reliably identify whether a particular bit of text is information about the song, song lyrics, or chords.

If you have songs in a document format like Word or PDF, you &lt;em&gt;can&lt;/em&gt; copy and paste the lyrics and chords into the &quot;Add song&quot; form in the SongBook, and combine the chords and lyrics yourself.]]></description>
